Theory

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy can provide information  about the molecular chemical environment of the nucleus of interest,  based on the measurement of the absorption of radio frequency (RF) by  the nucleus in the strong magnetic field.

Application

NMR can be widely applied in various fields, including earth science,  environmental science, agricultural science, material science, food  science, and bio-medicine.

Supporting research direction in geoscience in our lab: 1) migration and transfer  mechanisms of element at the solid-liquid interface, 2) characterization  and structural analysis of amorphous minerals.
